Your gameplay data is not for sale

We do not sell or rent our gameplay analytics or the contact details you send us. We do not give our gameplay visit records to advertisers. Advertising providers may collect information through ads, as explained below.

What we measure about play

We record visits, approximate visible and active playing time, whether a hero was selected, the game screen reached, and fights started or finished against the computer, online or on the same device. We also record a broad device category, country, general traffic source and game version. We use this to find loading problems, understand whether visitors play, and improve the experience.

Gameplay analytics use a fresh random visit ID each time the game page loads. They do not store your name, email address, IP address, exact location, room code or a recording of your play. This visit ID does not identify you across separate visits, and we do not use a persistent analytics cookie or browser fingerprint for these measurements.

Discovering Rebellion

When Rebellion discovery is offered, we may count promotion clicks, page views, Play taps, game opens, first mission starts and completed missions by day. These totals contain no visitor identifier, name, IP address or device information. Rebellion is currently withdrawn from public play while development continues.

Online sessions and browser storage

Online features use a guest ID, nickname and match information to connect players, show online availability and restore a connection. Your nickname may be visible to your opponent. A secure guest-session cookie lasts up to 30 days. This session identity is separate from the random gameplay analytics visit ID.

Your browser also stores game preferences and temporary room-reconnection information. You can clear cookies and site storage in your browser, which may reset preferences or interrupt online play. Clearing browser storage does not delete analytics already received by us.

Hosting, security and traffic analytics

Cloudflare hosts and protects the game and provides traffic and performance analytics. Delivering requests and preventing abuse involves processing connection information, including IP addresses and browser request details. This is separate from the limited gameplay analytics records described above. Read Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its handling of service data.

Google AdSense and advertising

When Google AdSense ads are shown, Google and participating advertising providers may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. Depending on your choices and settings, Google and its partners may personalize ads using visits to this website and other websites.

You can manage or turn off Google ad personalization in Google Ads Settings. See how Google uses information from partner sites and YourAdChoices for information and participating providers’ opt-out tools. Turning off personalization does not necessarily stop advertising cookies or all advertising-related processing.

Messages, retention and your choices

If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you choose to include. We use it to respond to your feedback, privacy request or collaboration enquiry.

Gameplay analytics are currently retained without a fixed automatic deletion period. You can contact us about access, correction or deletion of personal information you have provided. Because gameplay records use temporary visit IDs, we may not be able to identify which records relate to you. Please do not send passwords or other sensitive information.
